Why I love hidden object games?

First time I was introduced to hidden object games I thought to myself: "okay, who would play that?" Why instead of exploring some RPG world I would play video games in which I search for objects and that's it?
And then, forced by some higher forces, I started playing my first hidden object game.
It was "Natural Threat: Ominous Shores". I was sitting there, skeptical to death, believing I will die of boredom, but a funny thing happened.
Before I started to record it, I wanted to play it so I can get to know this game. Before I could know what hit me, the game was over and I was overwhelmed.I never thought this could be something that got my attention so fast.
Later I started to be really picky before I realized that there are so many point and click hidden object games. My favorite and cheapest way to get them was through Big Fish Games.

Some games just went through my hand and I loved them, but they didn't leave a big impression on me. Some games even managed to get to my top games of my life.
Games like Witches' Legacy (complete series), Voodoo Whisperer, all the Edgar Allan Poe games. Those games left a real big impact on me.

What I value the most in games like this is more story, less searching for hidden objects. For example Witches' Legacy has this most intriguing storyline. It reminds me a lot about the story of Hansel and Gretel and also about those horror stories you sometimes read in the child's book. You get attached to the character you play right away. Being a savior to an innocent little girl makes you feel like a real hero. You have to use all you have against someone that has magical abilities. And it's tricky. Sometimes you get stuck at some part of the game any you really don't know what to do next. And it takes you really long to find out where you have to go. Call me a strange person- but I like that. It's a challenge. Also, the story goes on. Through other parts of the game, you see that little girl grow up.

Voodoo Whisperer is a different story. I love those games filled with occult mysteries. They really get my attention. And also graphics are awesome also. Colors that are stunning and mysteries at every corner.

So guys- I think you should just give it  a try. Maybe you will like it as I did.

Christmas Wonderland Video Game Review

I started playing Christmas video games probably month and half before Christmas. But hell yeah, I had a lousy childhood so now for me Christmas is finally magic.
Things I really appreciate in Christmas video games are:

1) Environment: Yes- I am a sucker for beautiful Christmas trees, snowman, decorations and candies. I am from Croatia, so some things are not usually found here,  because we have some other traditions, but that's more fun for us.
2) Music: Yeah, I started with Christmas music list that last for 4-6 hours two months before Christmas. And yes- my boyfriend probably wanted to kill me. But yes- Christmas is ALL about music.
3) Snow: Oh my God- snow! I really miss those snowy Christmas nights when I was a child. Snow is not so common anymore here in Croatia. But- when it falls my heart is overwhelmed with joy. I know that first time some of our Brazilian friends saw snow. It was like seeing a two year old child believing in magic again.

So- Christmas Wonderland has it all- snow, great music, and it's rather easy. But I dont want things to be hard on holidays. I want to just enjoy.

Here is the link for my walktrough of the game:

Christmas Games Part One

Are you ready for Christmas Madness?
We know we are. Best source for Christmas games? For me- Big Fish Games!
I just love casual games that focus more on the atmosphere than on gameplay. It's that kind of time in the year. Lazy and cozy. With warm tea with cinnamon and snow outside.

There are my favorite ones:

Christmas Adventure- Candy Storm:
It's a wonderful game where you play a character that is stuck in the snow because two witches made a mistake and made his car completely out of candy! It's funny. These three witches are so funny. I loved collecting things for them. I also managed to finish the game without walktrough.
